In 2005, with pressure to fast-track the newly selected elementary school construction projects, the Lee County School Board contacted Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc to assist in bringing this project to completion, who in turn selected Exceptional Engineering Inc. for its prior knowledge and ability to expedite site plan and permitting, specifically with experience in school board related projects.
Knowing that time was of the essence, the Exceptional Engineering Project Management team, set out immediately to complete the needed site design of the 122,244 sf school building situated on the 20-acre location. Additionally, EEI undertook the traffic engineering, utility design, drainage design, roadway improvements design, site permitting through Lee County, Lee County Utility Permitting, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Sewer Permitting, Lee County Department of Health (LCDOH) potable water permitting, and South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) ERP permitting. Construction observations of the final elementary school were accomplished on time in 2006. The families of the River Hall Subdivision and its surrounding areas, now have access to a beautiful state-of-the-art educational facility.
